It has been my pleasure to be a caregiver for Wayne for the last 4 years and help him out with many things. He loved to tell me about his days on the pumpkin farm and of the many other ventures he was involved in. Wayne was a character in a very unique way. He loved being around people and talking about any subject. He had many friends here in Sun City and spent a great deal of time at the Olive Branch Senior Center for lunches to visit with them. I will remember Wayne as a very special person in my life!

We first met up with Wayne in the late 1980′s. We
were his accountants and Connie worked several years
on the pumpkin far. We have many fond memories of
our association with Wayne over the past 20+ years.
It was a pleasure and a lot of fun working with him
on the pumpkin farm. We took a couple of trips to
Disney World with Wayne. He always made sure that
we had reservations to eat three meals a day. We also
spent a few summers at Shadow Lake after he sold the
farm. We also visited him in Arizona until it became
difficult to travel since we did not fly. Those were
some wonderful days for us and we still talk about
them. We will miss him very much. God bless him
and all his family and friends.

We have many great memories of Wayne and PlaneView Farm. My family and I worked there for many years and still remember planting the pumpkins and setting up the crafts and Halloween displays. My son still wears the gold shirt from the farm. Wayne will be missed.

We have very fond memories of working at the Pumpkin Farm for nine years from playing witch to running the cash registars and the kids working in the fields or with the ponies. My husband also worked there one season when he lost his job. Wayne was good hearted that way. He will be missed. Our sympathy to Wayne’s family and friends.
