Step 4. Exhume the body

This will be performed by the cemetery and can take a little bit of time.

Step 5. Transport the body

The body will then be transported to the new location. 

Step 6. Bury the body at the new site

Finally, the body will be placed in the new location. Some families may choose to hold another memorial service while others may not. One thing to note is that you will most likely need a new headstone.
