Mr. Erich Djordjevic of DesPlaines

Erich Djordjevic, 48, of DesPlaines, Illinois. Passed away peacefully and into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, September 28th after a valiant battle with cancer. Erich was born in Salzburg, Austria on November 1, 1973, to his parents Miodrag Djordjevic and Lilijana (nee Stojanovic). He is survived by his parents, wife, Jennifer (nee Merriam), son, Aaron, sister Jasmine, and niece Ariella, and nephews, Shane, Zackery, and Alec. Erich, a graduate of Niles West High School, was a strong man who worked with his hands most of his life on construction projects. He was mechanically inclined and extremely smart, always finding ways to fix things. He loved his cars and motorcycles and loved spending time with his family – beach vacations were always a favorite. He loved his little boy Aaron more than words can say. Together the two enjoyed trips to get ice cream and donuts in dad’s “work” van, walks to the park, and fun on any electric vehicle they could come up with. Erich’s family and friends will no doubt remember his humor and vibrant personality. He will be missed from now until we see him again! Friends, family, and others whose lives have been touched by Erich are invited to a visitation on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 2:00 to 7:00 P.M. and Monday, October 3 from 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northeast corner of Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, IL. 60169. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Skin of Steel , JourneyCare or Pickles Cancer Support would be greatly appreciated.
