Ms. Erin Blanchette of Palatine

Erin Blanchette, April 19, 1988 – November 26, 2024, 36, of Palatine, Illinois. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Erin Blanchette, age 36. She was the beloved daughter of Kari Blanchette (nee Johnson) and the late Ron Blanchette; loving sister of Lauren (Michael Money), Amanda, and Ron; dear aunt to Charlotte and Alister; granddaughter of June and the late Paul Johnson and the late Ron and the late Lois Blanchette; fond niece and cousin of many. Erin passed away suddenly with her family by her side. Growing up in Barrington Erin’s primary passions were soccer and dance. Erin played soccer from an early age through middle school with her Dad as the coach. They had a special bond as her team dominated the BASA fields. She continued dance in high school with both Poms and Orchesis. Erin loved performing and thrived doing so. She also enjoyed many other activities with friends like swim team and ski club. After college at Bradley University she worked in the hospitality industry for many years event coordinating and banquets. Erin’s travels took her too many places; her favorite destinations included Disney World and Longboat Key, FL. She loved live music and attending concerts with family and friends. Her adventurous spirit and love for life was inspiring. Her passion for movies and love of comedy would spark hours of conversation and laughter. Her ability to quote a movie and doing impressions was extremely amusing. Erin’s charismatic charm will be deeply missed by all those who loved and knew her. Erin lit up every room she entered; she was a passionate and loving person. Her memory will always remain as she dances in Heaven. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 from 3:30 to 8:30 P.M. and Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral service at noon at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northeast corner of Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, IL. 60169.
