Mr. Anthony "Tony" Joseph Morizzo of South Barrington

Anthony “Tony” Joseph Morizzo, 74, of South Barrington, Illinois. Beloved husband of Elizabeth “Liz” Morizzo, nee Kas, loving father of Ross (Lucy Ann) Morizzo, devoted Poppy of Maggie, Connor and Brady; cherished brother of Daniel (Rev. Dottie) Morizzo; dear son of the late Daniel A. and Frances Morizzo; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Tony touched the lives of everyone who knew him, words cannot express how much he will be missed by his family and friends. He had a zest for life and was always the life of the party. He had the ability to make friends anywhere he went; it didn’t matter who you were or where you were from. His brain was an encyclopedia of jokes and you would never leave a conversation without hearing at least a few. Tony was a funeral director for over 55 years. He was a true and dedicated funeral director and friend. He was proud and humbled to help so many families get through a difficult time. Tony did as his father did before him by saying “a friend in need is a friend indeed” and he showed that all the time. Tony was everyone’s “best friend” and was always there for his family and friends and put everyone before himself.
