Mrs. Audrey A. Palmer of Hoffman Estates

Audrey A. Palmer, age 87 formerly of Hoffman Estates, Illinois; passed away November 19, 2024. Audrey was the beloved wife of the late Robert S. Palmer; loving mother of Deborah (Larry) Koontz, Mark (Nadine) Palmer, Michael (Kathy) Palmer, Lori Palmer and Nancy Palmer; dear grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 13; fond aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Audrey Palmer, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 19th, surrounded by her loving family. Her life was marked by deep faith, unconditional love for her family, and a remarkable ability to bring joy to others. She shared 61 wonderful years of marriage with her late husband, Robert Palmer. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and service. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and she took immense pride in supporting and celebrating their lives. As original parishioners of Saint Hubert’s Catholic Church, she and Bob were actively involved in their faith community, which remained a cornerstone of their lives. She worked as a service manager at The Assembly Restaurant for many years, known for her warmth and leadership. Later, she and Bob worked at their daughter’s family business, ZeroNine, where they helped support their daughter and son-in-law during that time, further reflecting her dedication to her family. She loved golfing, gambling, and playing cards, always turning these pastimes into opportunities for connection and laughter. Known for her quick wit, endless supply of jokes, and warm smile, she had a unique gift for brightening any room she entered. Her love, humor, and unwavering faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She was truly a light to her family and her community, and her legacy of love will endure for generations. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. until time of funeral service at 4:00 P.M. at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northeast corner at Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, Illinois 60169. Burial will be private. The family asks that you please wear bright colored clothing to the visitation and bring a joke to share.
