Mrs. Darlene Webb of Hoffman Estates

Darlene Webb, nee Mileski, 71, of Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Dar was a dedicated English/language arts teacher in Barrington District 220 from the years 1975-2011. Dar taught at both Middle School Station Campus and more recently, Barrington High School. Dar also coached softball in her early years teaching. As an English teacher, Dar shared her energetic nature and love of literature and writing with her students. After retirement, Dar continued teaching in a substitute role in District 220. Her love of teaching can only be topped by her love of being a grandmother and traveling with her daughter, Kristi and husband Chris and her grandchildren. She accompanied them all over the country while creating lasting memories. Not only was she a devoted grandmother to her own grandkids, but she was always the grandmother figure to so many others. Dar was devoted to her family and friends. She opened her home to her family and hosted many holidays with amazing food and festivities. She always insisted on making her homemade Italian cuisine with the family sauce recipe. Although a meticulous homemaker, kids' toys strewn over the house was a welcomed decor. There was always a special place in her heart for children. Dar was a dependable rock to many that she loved. Dar also enjoyed the company of her friends, listening to music, and sitting on the deck with a warm fire. She befriended like minded people who loved life as she did. Loving mother of Kristi (Chris) Kovich; devoted grandmother of Jack, Maggie and Drew; cherished sister of Alan (Karen, the late Patricia) Mileski, Stephen (Michelle) Mileski, David (Wendy) Mileski and Gary (Kathy) Mileski; beloved aunt of Kimberly (Jake) DeVries, Kevin (Brittany) Mileski, Kara (Spencer) Byrne, Meghan Mileski, Kasey Mileski, Nicki Mileski, Michael Mileski, Melody (Christian) Cizek, Amanda Mileski, Joseph Mileski, Michelle (Brian) Illig and Rachel Mileski. Memorial visitation will be Friday, February 3, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 pm at Morizzo Funeral Home, 2550 West Hassell Road (northeast corner of Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, IL, 60169. In lieu of flowers donation in Darlene's name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
