Mrs. Deborah Susan Lindeman of Elk Grove Village

Deborah Susan Lindeman (née Molinaro), 62, of Elk Grove Village, Illinois passed away on July 3, 2024 surrounded by her husband and four children. She was the beloved wife of 40 years to James W. Lindeman; loving mother of Stephanie (Jordan) Harvey, Brittany (Pete) Tschammer, Ashley (Joe) Geraldi and Zachary (Joe Gruzalski) Lindeman; cherished grandmother of Jameson, William and Baby Girl Geraldi; devoted sister of Jenni (Lisa) Peoples, Joe (Nicole) Molinaro, Chris (Kim) Molinaro, Mark Molinaro and the late Jimmy Molinaro; fond daughter of the late James and Ellen Molinaro; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Debbie also shared special and cherished relationships with her sisters-in-law Debbie Nolan, Susan Mitchell, and Debbie Molinaro. As the first born of six children, Debbie was the leader of her family, always there to lend a supportive ear through all of life’s challenges and a constant source of strength for her parents as they aged. Debbie was a social butterfly (to put it lightly). She was the life of every party and a friend to everyone she met. She could chat for hours to just about anyone. Whether it be a close friend or family member on the phone, or a stranger at the grocery store, she was always an interested and enthusiastic listener. Debbie and Jim had a marriage to be admired, a rare and everlasting love story, both knowing after they met in 7th grade that they had found their lifelong partner. Rarely could you find them without one another, and never would either miss a chance to sing the praises of the other. After marrying in 1983, they started a family, welcoming four kids between 1988 and 1993. Debbie was relentlessly devoted to her family, never missing an extracurricular event or an opportunity to get involved at school. She continued to be a dedicated cheerleader for them throughout adulthood, and was so incredibly proud of all their accomplishments. When each found their own lifelong partner, she welcomed them into the family with excitement and open arms and was overjoyed when she later became a grandma to two little boys. At the age of only 53, she handled a devastating Alzheimer’s diagnosis with exceptional grace and courage, seizing every opportunity to enjoy life while she could, making sure to check off bucket list items like a trip to Hawaii, but also savoring the small things, like any sweet treat she could get her hands on. Despite the challenges Alzheimer’s brought into their lives, Jim and Debbie’s love shined through as Jim cared for her with steadfast dedication and admirable resilience, remaining a loving and committed partner through the end. Debbie was incredibly loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will remember her always and strive each day to honor her legacy, treasuring every moment, leading a life that prioritizes treating others with kindness and compassion, and never missing an opportunity to tell someone you love them. Visitation will be Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, at 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northeast corner at Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, Illinois 60169. Blessing and Eulogy Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 4:30 P.M.. Visitation Monday July 8, 2024 from 9:30 A.M. until time of closing prayers 10:30 A.M. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery and Mausoleum in Des Plaines, Illinois.
