Mrs. Eileen Gloria Farr of Hoffman Estates

Eileen Gloria Farr, 90, of Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Eileen was a loving wife, spirited mother of 6, supportive grandmother of 10, and caring great grandmother of 4. She was sharp as a tack, all 90 years. She had a competitive spirit, and put it to good use, dominating at cards and other games. After many years as a Homemaker while her children were younger, she began working at School District 54. She worked her way from School Librarian to District Administrative Staff. One of her main responsibilities was overseeing grants and funding for the school district, assuring accurate reporting and timely funding. However, she really lived for her large family and always happily welcomed new members as her children and grandchildren grew. She was the strong-willed matriarch that loved us all despite our flaws, and the hole that she leaves cannot be filled. Beloved wife of the late David Farr, loving mother of Ruth (Greg) Mulac, Mary Farr, Susan (Howard) Adams, Vicki (the late Thomas) Tisinai, David (Beth) Farr, and Jim (Jackie) Farr; cherished grandmother of Zach Tisinai, Maegan Tisinai, David (Payton) Farr, Emily Farr, Sarah Farr, Quinn Farr, Emma Farr, Courtney (Mike) Joyce, Derek (Lexi) Adams, and Hillary (Cody) Williams; great grandmother of Addy, Braden, Olivia, and Cambria. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northeast corner of Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, IL. 60169. Family and friends will meet on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 729 Grand Canyon Drive, Hoffman Estates, Illinois, 60169, for a visitation from 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery, Palatine, Illinois.
