Mr. Robert F. Gardner Jr.

Robert “Bob” F. Gardner, Jr., age 63 of Schaumburg, Illinois; passed away peacefully at home and stepped into the arms of his Savior, Jesus on October 5th, 2023 surrounded by his family. Bob was born in Chicago, IL (the Hegewisch neighborhood) on July 17th, 1960 to the late Robert F. and the late Catherine "Gerry" (nee Majewski) Gardner. Bob was the beloved husband of Tove (nee Shergold) and loving father of his namesake son Robert F. Gardner, III., and the dear brother of Carol (Steve) Lopez, Sandi Gardner and Jim Gardner. Bob had a BS in Accounting from Illinois State University, Certified Public Accountant from the University of Illinois, and a MBA in finance from Northern Illinois University. He worked a long career with the CBOE and FINRA for over 30 years. Bob has lived in Schaumburg for 33 years and has been a member of Willow Creek Church for over 30 years. He served in Promiseland for 20 years and the Good Sense & Small Group Ministries. Bob enjoyed cruising and vacationing with his extended family, which usually included the Wisconsin Dells. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 from 10:30 A.M. until time of Funeral Service at 12 Noon at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northeast corner at Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, Illinois 60169.
