Mr. Ronald Gilbert Kinzie of Schaumburg

Ronald "Ron" Gilbert Kinzie, 88, of Schaumburg, Illinois. Loving and faithful husband of the late Sherri Kinzie; devoted father of Ben (Beth) Kinzie and Valerie (Greg) Bare; cherished grandfather of Preston. Beloved brother of Marilyn Reed (Bill) and Uncle to Cindy, Chris, and Amy whom he loved deeply. Ron strove to serve the Lord throughout his life in everything he did. He was called to work for Moody Bible Institute for 40 years and was often selected as an elder in the churches he attended. He always found time to offer an encouraging word or pray with anyone in need. Preferring to serve behind the scenes, he used his skills to help others, especially his children, with household projects and repairs. He loved singing hymns and his booming harmonizing bass was unmistakable. Ron’s smile and genuine warmth made people feel immediately at ease with him. He was a kind, gentle and joyful soul who will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know him. Family and friends are asked to meet on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northeast corner of Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, IL 60169 from 9:00 A.M. till time of funeral service at 11:00 A.M.. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove.
