Tony R. Smith, 35, of Pingree Grove, Illinois. Tony Romero Smith returned to his heavenly home on March 24, 2021 at the age of 35. Loving father of Noah Adams; beloved son of Kay and Kirk Whiting; cherished brother of Preston Whiting, Brittney (Jared) Marchiando; adored uncle of Trendell, Hayden, and Jackson. Born in Chicago, Tony was a lifelong Chicago area resident. He was an animal lover spending many years working in the pet industry allowing him to care for animals. He had a love for music. Suiting his thoughtful nature, he expressed himself artfully through songs. He had much to say and wisdom to share that he delivered in a rapid fire format. Some of his fondest memories were creating music while spending time and sharing laughs with his brother and close knit group of friends. He was a proud father cherishing every moment, smile and laugh shared with his beloved son. Tony was charismatic, thoughtful and passionate, kind and funny. He always knew how to brighten the mood and spirits of those around him. He was devoted and protective of those he loved and always remembered to express his love and appreciation for them. In turn, Tony was loved and cherished by so many. He touched many lives and will have a lasting impact. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator. Psalm 34:4-5 I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. ** Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, everyone is asked to be patient and abide by the number of visitors allowed inside the funeral home. Everyone is welcomed, but we ask that you keep your visit short so that all who wish to pay their respects will be able to do so. Please note that all visitors are required to wear face masks to enter the funeral home. ** Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 31st from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday morning a private visitation will be held until time of service at 10:00 A.M at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northeast corner of Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, Illinois 60169.
