Mrs. Victoria G. Nolan of Downers Grove

Victoria G. Nolan, 65, of Downers Grove, Illinois (11/17/1958 – 8/5/2024). Beloved mother of Jessica Lee (Dan) Kitlica, Christopher William (Suzi) Babos, and Sarah Elizabeth (Anthony) Haynes; cherished grandmother of Landon, Nolan, Hunter, Everett, and Grant. Victoria was born in Evergreen Park in 1958 to Sandra and Gerald Nolan and was the oldest of four Daniel (Rita) Nolan, Elizabeth (Larry) Blouin, and David Nolan. Victoria attended Mother McAuley High School before studying Finance at Loyola University Chicago and working in finance and banking for nearly 30 years while managing a household and raising 3 children. Victoria was a loving mother and very proud of her children. She had high expectations but was incredibly hard-working herself and overcame countless obstacles and challenges. She had a great sense of humor, a beautiful singing voice, and was very assertive and bold. She backed down for no one and was strong in her convictions. Victoria had a flair for fashion, took pride in her appearance and was rarely seen without freshly manicured nails and hair. Victoria's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her. She left a lot of unfinished business but made peace in her final days. Her laughter, her love of life, and her ability to make everyone feel cherished will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Victoria was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Nolan; father, Gerald Nolan; paternal grandparents, Dorothy and Edgar Nolan; maternal grandparents, Raea and Leo Korzenecki. Family and Friends will meet Saturday August 31, 2024 at 9:45 A.M. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8404 S. Cass Avenue, Darien, Illinois 60561 for a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial.
