Mrs. Marelda M. Settle of Palatine

April 19, 1926 - April 3, 2022

Marelda M. Settle nee: Meadows, age 95, of Palatine, Illinois, passed away peacefully April 03, 2022. Marelda was the beloved wife of the late Edward and loving mother of David, Lisa (Edward) Floden and the late Edward Jr., she was cherished by her grandchildren Robin (Ryan) McWilliams and Garret Settle. Dear Sister of Carole (Bob) Franklin, Patty (late Chester) Sedlock and Peggy (late Billy) Haga. Marelda was born and raised in West Virgina in the Lansing area. She studied and earned her degree as a Registered Nurse in 1948, her and her family moved to Pennsylvania for a few years and settled in Illinois by 1963. Family and Friends will meet Monday April 11, 2022 from 12 noon 1:00 P.M. at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northeast corner of Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, IL. 60169. Graveside services for her will be Monday, April 11, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery, 1517 Maple Ct, McHenry, Illinois.
