Mrs. Zenaida Raneses of Streamwood

April 26, 1934 - May 14, 2022

Zenaida Raneses, nee Bartolome, 88, of Streamwood, Illinois. Cherished wife of the late Ismael Raneses; devoted mother of Ismaelito (Mary Ann) Raneses and Marc Raneses(Carrie); cherished grandmother of Anna Marie, Lisa Marie, Tyler and Nathan. Eldest sibling of Renato (deceased); Emmanuel (Bruce); Jaime (Valda); Mario (Melba Luz); Joselito (Luiza); Ciriaco (Magdalena); Antonia. Zenaida B. Raneses was born on April 26, 1934 in the Philippines. She was the eldest child of 8 children. She studied Cosmetology and eventually opened her own beauty shop. Zenaida married Ismael in 1966 and had two sons, Ismaelito and Marc. In 1972, Ismael left behind his young family to emigrate and pursue the Immigrant dream to establish a better life for his family in the United States of America. Zenaida worked at Scott Foresman and Company as a general office clerk during the 80s and retired early to be a dedicated stay-at-home mom and housewife. Zenaida had a sweet, friendly, and charming charisma that gained her many close friends and relationships which she valued and nurtured throughout her years. She will be deeply missed by all of us who have been blessed to have her in our lives. Visitation will be Monday, May 23, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northeast corner at Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, Illinois 60169. Family and friends will meet at St. John the Evangelist Church, 502 S. Park Blvd, Streamwood, IL 60107 on Thursday, May 26, 2022 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M..
