Mr. Zoltan Bodnar

September 22, 1949 - February 27, 2022

Zoltan Bodnar. After suffering for more than two years as a result of a non-malignant brain tumor resulting in two strokes, Zoltan's valiant struggle is over. He is released in love by his devoted wife, Deborah, nee Testa, and his loving son and business partner, Gregory Bodnar. Zoltan will be sorely missed by his family and friends, and welcomed home by his parents, Helena and Zoltan Bodnar, Sr. An Army Veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict, Zoltan will be laid to rest with military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. A Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Visitation, Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northeast corner of Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, IL. 60169 from 3:00 to 9:00 P.M. A funeral service will begin between 6:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. the officiant will be Father Matthew Jamison. Burial will be at Abraham Lincoln Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00 A.M., we will all gather at the cemetery at 10:45 P.M. - The cemetery will lead us in at 11:00 A.M. punctually. Zoltan was a proud member of Viet Nam Veterans of America and The Saints, Volunteers for the Performing Arts. Memorials to the charity of one's choice including Wounded Warriors, World Vision and Amita Alexian Brothers Hospice or any charitable acts one is able to do is very much appreciated.
