Ms. Elizabeth Sommerville of Carpentersville, Illinois. A life well lived and full of merit. Elizabeth Imani Sommerville transitioned from this life to the next on August 5, 2026.Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Elizabeth had touched in some way throughout her life. Those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile, warm hugs and sassy one-liners brought joy to everyone she encountered. Born August 20, 2002, in Chicago, IL. Elizabeth was the youngest child of Dwayne Sommerville and her mother, Mrs. Jacqueline Orlando, and spent the majority of her life being raised in Schaumburg, IL. A faithful believer in the Lord and a heart for children, Elizabeth worked with children that had “unique abilities” as she called them. She loved to cook and her favorite channel to watch was the food network. She had the opportunity to “cook” with one of the Food Network chefs during COVID virtually. She was a young leader at His Cloud of Glory where she was a part of the Children’s ministry, Culinary, Media and Resource Center teams. She was born right before His Cloud of Glory came into the hands of Pastor Ron, so she only knew one Pastor. Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Jacqueline Orlando (Nicholas), her sister, Naomi Sommerville, her father, Dwayne Sommerville, her grandmother, Doris Webster, and her aunt, Shauna Burt along with a host of other close relatives and friends. May her memory be a blessing to all!! We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has offered their support during our time of loss.
