Mr. Mark Joseph Milford of Hoffman Estates

Mark Joseph Milford, 64, of Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Loving husband of Minerva Milford, née Sotelo; devoted father of Brittney (Lukasz Cholewa) Milford and Mark Anthony Milford; cherished brother of Michael Milford, Ronald Milford and the late Richard Milford; son of late Silas and Pasquina Milford, née Paoli; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mark was a dedicated and loving husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed finding projects in his yard, taking care of his many fish tanks, and talking about Michigan sports teams. He was a proud alumnus of the University of Michigan where he received a Bachelor of Science and Michigan State University where he received a Master’s in Forensic Science. He was known to have the best memory, remembering every detail from every event and conversation he had. Mark always anticipated the needs of others and often surprised his loved ones with well-thought-out gifts. He had a strong passion for his job as the Assistant Laboratory Director at Northeastern Illinois Regional Crime Laboratory and enjoyed sharing stories from the lab. He touched many lives, shared many memories, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northwest corner of Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, IL 60169. Family and friends will meet on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Holy Family Church, 2515 W Palatine Road, Inverness, IL 60067 for a visitation from 12:00 P.M. till time of Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 P.M..
