Mrs. Sunday Carol Mollica, 71. of Forest Park, Illinois. Loving daughter of the late Dominic and the late Margherita “Marge” (Minniti) Mollica; cherished sister of the late Joseph (the late Carol) Mollica; beloved Auntie, cousin, and friend to many. Sunday opened her heart to everyone she loved with warmth, generosity, and her unmistakable sparkle. Proud of her Italian heritage, Sunday embraced the traditions, language, and spirit of her family’s roots. She loved nothing more than gathering around a table filled with good food, laughter, and the people she cherished. A woman of style, she was an avid reader, a true fashionista, and known for her impeccable taste—especially her affinity for beautiful jewelry. Sunday was also deeply committed to her community and heritage through her involvement in several Italian American organizations, including UNICO and JCCIA. Her passion for travel, culture, and family enriched every part of her life, leaving those who knew her with cherished memories and stories. She will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to share in her love, her elegance, and her vibrant spirit. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northwest corner of Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, IL 60169. Family and friends will meet on Monday, November 24, 2025 at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1530 Jackson Ave, River Forest, IL 60305 for a visitation from 9:00 A.M. till time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M..
